Science Quest camps are an absolute BLAST! We have the coolest instructors, the most awesome projects and the best camp around!
We are super excited to bring you the finalized 2017 Camp Schedule! The camps that are running in their respective weeks are indicated by the boxes with gears in them.
Camp runs from Monday to Friday, from 9am to 4pm. Extended programming is also offered in the morning (drop off at 8am) and afternoon (pickup at 5pm) for an additional $15 per week per program ($15 for morning, $15 for afternoon). Dropoff and pickup location is Beamish-Munro Hall on the campus of Queen’s University (45 Union Street West). Each day contains 4-5 activities, one of which is an activity that contributes to the week-long project that campers are working on. First Week Fee: $10
All Camps: $215
Robotics Camp: $220
Impact & Brainstorm: $500
Extended Programming: $15 each/week
For the 4 day week in August the revised price is $180 for Robotics Camp and $175 for all other camps that week.
This year we have decided to get rid of the $50 Registration Deposit and thus you will not be charged the extra $50. If you have signed up already and ended up paying the deposit you will be refunded that as soon as possible.
Extended Programming goes from 8:00am to 9:00am in the morning and 4:00pm to 5:00pm in the afternoon. Each block costs $15 each per week meaning if you wanted one morning EP and one afternoon EP it would be $30 total.

Campers will do exciting and relevant science activities that will spark their creativity and link science to the world around them! Science Camp will span civil engineering to ecology to geology and everything in between for an eye-opening experience. Our positive instructors will act as role models, leading campers through activities, cool demonstrations and experiments all week long! Our instructors develop an A and B week of Science Camp so your camper can enjoy more than one week without repeating activities and campers are split into groups for grades 4-5 and grades 6-8 for maximum enjoyment!
Science Camp Jr.
Science Camp Jr. is a brand new program that allows campers in grades 1 to 3 to participate in all the fun that Science Quest has. This camp will have specialized programming that is designed for these young creative minds. Just like Science Camp, this week will allow campers to make connections between science and the world around them through amazing demonstrations and cool experiments!
Girls Quest Tech
New in 2015, Robotics Camp will be an extension of Science’s Quest Tech Camp, and allow kids to learn everything they would ever want to know about the world of robots! Working in partnership with experts from the Kingston community, campers will learn all about the coding, building, and energy required for a robot to work. Campers will be given the unique opportunity to explore Queen’s University campus and discover that adults love robots just as much as them! Our instructors develop an A and B week of Robotics Camp so your camper can enjoy more than one week without repeating activities and campers are split into groups for grades 4-5 and grades 6-8 for maximum enjoyment!
Impact & Brainstorm
Impact, for boys, and Brainstorm, for girls, are our exciting overnight camps for campers going into grade 6 to those who just finished grade 8! Held for one week every summer, campers get to stay overnight in residence for four nights and have all their meals provided for over the week. During the day, they’ll take part in awesome science activities led by our instructors. After the camp day, campers will explore Kingston and Queen’s University! Fun evening activities have included a trip to the Wolfe Island Corn Maze, a board games night, a movie night, and much much more!
